Terms & Conditions

1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 Before making a booking with MTÜ Latin Passion (further referred to simply as 'Latin Passion'), Clients (further referred to as 'you') should read these Terms & Conditions carefully.
1.2 If you are unable to agree with the Terms & Conditions, you must not book or attend the services offered by Latin Passion. If, however, you agree to the Terms & Conditions unconditionally, you may book and attend the services offered by Latin Passion, subject always to these Terms & Conditions.
1.3 Booking or attending Latin Passion dance classes shall indicate your acceptance of the Terms & Conditions.
1.4 Latin Passion may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time by posting the amended Terms & Conditions on the website without warning. The version of the Terms & Conditions that applies to the services offered by Latin Passion shall always be the version enforced at the time the services offered by Latin Passion were booked.
1.5 As a potential Client and student with Latin Passion, we require you to follow these Terms & Conditions. Latin Passion has the right to terminate your bookings at any time if any part of this agreement is breached. In the case of such an event, you, the Client, are not eligible for a refund of any paid services with Latin Passion.
2 BOOKING OF DANCE CLASSES
2.1 The client is required to book and make full payment before the start time of the dance class in order to secure a spot.
2.2 Dance classes are subject to space availability and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The availability of dance classes is shown on the online timetable of Latin Passion website.
2.3 Participation in dance classes that include special requirements (e.g. previous dance experience in that dance style) must require an authorization of Latin Passion before the Client is allowed to register for the dance class.
2.4 A social partnerwork dance class is a class that requires a balanced ratio between leaders and followers.
In order to fulfill the requirements, Latin Passion has the right to refuse to register a Client to a social partnerwork dance class. Latin Passion has also the right to cancel a booking and offer a refund of the unused social partnerwork dance classes to a Client, whereas this turns out to be necessary.
3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
3.1 If you need to reschedule a dance class you must do so at least 24hrs (one day) prior to the beginning of the dance class. Requests of rescheduling of a dance class at a later time will not be accepted, without exceptions.
3.2 Latin Passion is under no obligation to offer rescheduling for any bookings beyond a limit of 14 days after the initial termination of the booking at the time of purchase.
3.3 Latin Passion is under no obligation to offer alternative or replacement sessions for missed or canceled dance classes.
3.4 As long as the dance classes can run and Latin Passion is able to provide the venue, and/or instructor, we accept no liability to replace a dance class due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather conditions or strike action.
3.5 On some rare occasions it may be necessary to make alterations to the start date, time, or teacher of our group dance classes in order to operate our sessions effectively. All Clients will be notified of any such changes as soon as is reasonably possible through the website timetable. Latin Passion is not obligated to inform students personally of any such changes. Any such change(s) shall not constitute a breach of contract and shall not give you the right to terminate the agreement or ask for a refund.
3.6 No refunds will be issued on unused or partially used dance classes.
3.7 Latin Passion properly and reasonably reserves the right to cancel or terminate wholly or in part any booking at any time and for any reason including, but not limited to, the following:
(a) If you are more than 14 days in arrears in respect of payments due to the Studio in respect of previous and/or current bookings or part(s) thereof;
(b) If the booking might, in Latin Passion’s reasonable opinion, prejudice the reputation of Latin Passion;
(c) if you or your guests’ behaviours (whether as individuals or as a group) is deemed, in Latin Passion's reasonable opinion, to be unacceptable;
(d) if you or your guests’ activity (whether as individuals or as a group) breaches Fire/Health and Safety or any legislation in any way or deemed unsafe for staff, performers or public;
3.8 Latin Passion regularly organizes special events, with the participation of local and guest dance instructors and dance artists, as well as social dance parties. All the fees booked and paid for such special events and social dance parties are non-refundable.
4. FORCE MAJEURE
If, due to an event beyond its control, Latin Passion is (in its opinion) unable wholly or substantially to perform its obligations to a Client, Latin Passion will promptly notify the Client accordingly and will refund any relevant deposit paid to it in respect of the booking, to the Client.
5. STUDIO RULES
5.1 Personal belongings must be kept with the member at all times and taken into the studio and not left unattended in which case they will be removed. Lockers and storage are not available.
5.2 Be courteous to your fellow students and instructors, by keeping the time and being prepared for dance classes.
5.3 Dance classes may be filmed or photographed or live streamed for promotional and operational purposes across all its platforms. Permission is granted to Latin Passion to use photographs and/or videos of students for publicity purposes.
5.4 Clean up after yourself in all areas of the studio.
5.5 The sole of the shoe must be clean at all times while in the studio. If you are dancing on high heels, you must wear heel protectors at all times.
5.6 Members must be ready to leave the studio with their belongings punctually at the end of the dance class.
5.7 In case of social events / parties happening at the studio, drink responsibly. Any member of the Latin Passion team is permitted to stop you from consuming more alcohol, if necessary.
5.8 Members are forbidden to place marketing material anywhere on the premises.
6. COVID MEASURES PERIOD WAIVER
Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to Covid-19. Whilst our protocols and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness does exist and you knowingly and freely assume all such risks both known and unknown even if arising from the negligence of Latin Passion or others, you assume full responsibility for your participation.
You willingly agree to comply with the stated terms, conditions and protocols regarding protection against infectious diseases. If you observe any unusual hazard you will remove yourself and bring it to the attention of the nearest trainer immediately.
And for yourself and any personal representatives hereby release and hold harmless Latin Passion, their owners, staff and management and other participants with respect to illness, disability or death, or loss or damage to person or property whether arising from negligence or otherwise.
